The creation of Malman Real Estate was a natural progression for Jake, who previously was a broker associate at NAI Shames Makovsky from 2016-2022. During his time at NAI Shames Makovsky, he brokered many high-profile transactions and was involved in over 5 million square feet of transactions. In his role as Managing Broker and founder of Malman Real Estate, Jake will leverage his relationships and transacting experience, providing a high-quality experience for his clients. Evan Kline

Evan Kline joins Malman Real Estate as Partner and Managing Broker and brings his extensive experience in all facets of commercial real estate brokerage, leasing and acquisitions and related business operations. Evan’s commercial real estate career spans over 40 years with the last 16 years at NAI Shames Makovsky as Managing Broker. Evan took a well-known, local company and grew it into a full-service commercial real estate company with nearly 30 brokers and a large property management division offering third party management services for 3+ million square feet of properties managed. Evan also spent time as President of Sturm Realty Group managing over $20 million in redevelopment construction costs and completed over 150,000 SF in new leases with gross revenues exceeding $67 million in 18 months. Prior to Sturm, Evan was associated with Frederick Ross Company (now Newmark), the region’s largest full-service brokerage group, from 1981 to 2006. As Managing Broker and Partner, he directed all operations and activities including retail, office, and industrial leasing and sales; development projects; and related services. Evan was also one of the top performing brokers at Frederick Ross in retail leasing, land sales, office leasing, and industrial leasing/sales, and development projects. He has been actively involved in retail leasing, sales and development.

Originally from Anchorage, AK, Shane earned a BS in Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and completed MBA coursework at Indiana University at Bloomington and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Masters coursework in Real Estate at Georgetown University. He has worked as a B2B Technical Sales Engineer, where he was a top producer, focused on O&G, and as a Residential Broker, focused on high density student housing near the University of Texas campus, where he discovered his passion for opportunistic investment in real estate. He moved to Denver in 2012 from Austin, TX to reunite with his outdoor roots from Alaska. He brings over 13 years of real estate brokerage experience and a proven track record of being highly detailed with strong investment analytical skills, including high level investment modeling using Excel and Argus. Deb Stevens

Director of Operations & Marketing
Deb Stevens serves as the Operations & Marketing Director overseeing the operations and strategic management of Malman Real Estate. Deb is an experienced commercial real estate and business professional with over 22 years of experience and expertise in creating and implementing marketing and branding strategies as well as operational processes and efficiencies. Other areas of experience from her years in commercial real estate include brokerage business management, marketing, leasing and sales administration, property management, development, and appraisal. Throughout her career, Deb has worked in strategic roles for several top-tier companies such as Trammell Crow Company, Frederick Ross Company (now Newmark), and NAI Global and an affiliate. Of note, Deb was the Operations & Marketing Director for 13 years at a full-service commercial real estate company in Denver, Colorado where she managed operations, processes, and personnel for the entire brokerage division. She also created an overall marketing platform for the company and a long-lasting brand within the community. After more than 20 years, Deb considers herself both a Texas and Colorado native. Deb obtained a BBA in Real Estate and Public Administration from Baylor University.
